All our employees are registered apprentices, and we work with various trades' journeymen, ensuring all work is completed by skilled tradespeople. We provide a full array of renovation and construction services without compromising on quality or safety. MEET OUR TEAM
JAMES KERSWELL
Pro Force Contracting Ltd. is owned and operated by James Kerswell. He is a 3rd generation Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, with small-town values and integrity passed down from his father Harry (a designer and carpenter) and grandfather Ernest (a finish carpenter for Windsor Castle). He has 30 years of hands-on construction experience, proving that hard work, quality service, and open communication with his clients are the keys to a successful business.
Jim is also an accomplished Red Seal Journeyman Welder and holds an Agriculture degree in Agronomy from Olds College. His years of growing up on a rural farm, eventually running his farm, plus his varied education, give him invaluable experience of hard work and dedication.
As his father mentored Jim, he feels it is crucial to mentor those following him in the trade – and he takes pride in educating those looking to further their construction paths. Jim only employs tradespeople who are registered to Apprentice - people who have the same vision of quality, dependability and love of the craft. He encourages formal education and loves to see those he has mentored succeed!
Jim and his crew have completed varying residential projects from garages, sunrooms, home additions, complete home renovations to complete home builds. Commercial projects have ranged from a yoga studio, coffee shop, numerous office renovations to specialized housing for the elderly. Industrial projects include farm buildings and specialized industrial shops.
JANA KERSWELL
Jana Kerswell is an Architectural Technologist with over 25 years of experience in residential, educational, and commercial design. From project conception to permits, preparing construction drawings to material procurement, she enjoys working as a team player as a Project Manager.
Her past projects include the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital parkade, Grande Prairie Regional College renovations, Northern Lights College Science Lab renovation, industrial projects for the City of Grande Prairie, along with numerous residential additions, renovations and new homes.
She and James enjoy working as a team to ensure successful projects, but most importantly, satisfied clients.
